The Conrad Xiamen had awesome special edition bears in the past. Actually, even in June 2024, you still could buy the special edition bears shown below. Unfortunately, in July 2024, they have been replaced by the standard bear, you get in many sites in China – just in a different color. Diamond members have a chance to get one for free on request.

Hotel Review
You cannot miss the impressive Conrad hotel building in Xiamen, one of the city’s attractions, visible from afar. Conrad occupies the top floors of one of two sail-shaped towers overlooking the Siming Central Business District and Gulangyu Island. A shopping mall is next door, and the beautiful Nanputuo Temple and Xiamen University are within walking distance.
This hotel confirms the high standards of the Conrad brand in China. We had a lovely two-night stay, and the entire staff was always friendly and caring. During check-in, we were upgraded to a King Premier Sea View room, and the view of the South China Sea and Gulangyu Island was amazing. The room was spacious and airy, decorated in light colors, and featured a walk-in closet and a large bathroom with a bathtub and rain shower.
Breakfast was served in the main restaurant, Pier 38, offering a very large selection of Chinese and international meals, though it was quite busy. The executive lounge opened daily at 2:00 pm, with afternoon tea from 2:30 to 4:30 pm and happy hour from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The happy hour included a great selection of cold appetizers, warm meals, desserts, and fruits.
