Signia by Hilton Expands Worldwide: New Hotels Opening Through 2028

Hilton’s premium meetings-and-leisure brand, Signia by Hilton, is entering a major growth era. What began as a small collection of large-scale convention hotels in the U.S. is now transforming into a global player. After the brand’s first international opening earlier this year in Amman, Jordan (we wrote about this new hotel here), Signia is gearing up to double its portfolio by 2028 and extend its footprint into Asia Pacific, South Asia, Africa, and several high-demand U.S. destinations.

A Big Step Into Asia Pacific: Signia by Hilton Tainan

One of the most exciting developments is Signia’s move into Asia Pacific with the upcoming Signia by Hilton Tainan, set to open in July 2026. The hotel will rise in the cultural heart of Taiwan’s oldest city, giving guests effortless access to Tainan’s museums, historic districts, shopping areas, and major transport connections. Designed for both event planners and leisure travelers, the property will offer more than 19,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, complemented by multiple dining options, a welcoming lounge, and the brand’s exclusive Club Signia. With a modern fitness center and outdoor pool, Signia’s debut in the region promises a polished blend of business-ready facilities and relaxed comfort.

India Joins the Expansion: Signia by Hilton Jaipur

Hilton is also preparing to introduce Signia to India with the newly announced Signia by Hilton Jaipur, expected to open in 2028. This property will feature a mix of stylish rooms, executive suites, and even private pool villas, set alongside one of the most generous event footprints in the region. With a grand ballroom, an artificial lagoon, a spa, pools, multiple dining options, and a dedicated kids’ club, the hotel is being designed as a standout destination for both celebrations and high-profile meetings. It’s another clear signal that Hilton intends Signia to compete at the top end of the global meetings and events market.

A Dual Debut in Africa: Signia by Hilton Cairo Skywalk

Signia is also expanding into Africa with Signia by Hilton Cairo Skywalk and the connected Signia Residences. The hotel will bring a sophisticated mix of upscale rooms, refined dining, wellness spaces, and one of Cairo’s largest event facilities, complete with a state-of-the-art ballroom and expansive outdoor event lawn. Guests who book Club Signia rooms will enjoy an elevated lounge experience tailored for business travelers. The residences component will offer one- and two-bedroom apartments with private lounges and dedicated concierge services, designed for travelers who prefer the comfort of extended stays without sacrificing amenities.

Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort Spa

Major New Signia Hotels Across the U.S.

As the brand grows internationally, Signia is also strengthening its U.S. presence, especially in cities where large conventions and sports events drive demand for modern, high-capacity hotels.

Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Sp

One of the most significant openings this year is Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa, the brand’s debut in San Antonio, Texas and Hilton’s milestone 9,000th hotel globally. Set above the rolling Texas Hill Country, the resort blends wide-open scenery with contemporary luxury just minutes from San Antonio’s top attractions. Guests can expect everything from boutique-style villas and gourmet dining to a full wellness sanctuary, championship golf, and an impressive array of pools. With more than 131,000 square feet of event space, the property caters perfectly to Signia’s core purpose: high-end meetings and memorable group events.

Hollywood, Indianapolis, Savannah & More: The U.S. Pipeline Grows

The brand is also transforming the iconic Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida, which is set to reopen as Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort in 2026. Known for its oceanfront views and massive convention spaces, the property is naturally suited to Signia’s style. We wrote about the resort and our 2020 stay (then part of the Curio Collection) here.

In the Midwest, Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is scheduled for a fall 2026 opening and will become the city’s tallest hotel. Directly connected to the convention center and Lucas Oil Stadium via a skywalk, it will offer a bold mix of fine dining, a rooftop sky bar, a pool, wellness-focused rooms, and nearly 100,000 square feet of meeting space including an exceptionally large 50,000-square-foot ballroom.

Further south, construction has begun on Signia by Hilton Savannah, set to debut in mid-2028 as the new headquarters hotel for the Savannah Convention Center. The property aims to blend modern elegance with the charm of the Low Country, offering more than 34,000 square feet of meeting space, five dining venues, an outdoor pool and, of course, Club Signia.

Conclusion

Although we haven’t stayed at a Signia hotel yet, that will change very soon. We’ve already booked a stay at Signia La Cantera in San Antonio, and we’re also planning a visit to Signia by Hilton Amman in the upcoming year. Once we experience the brand firsthand, we’ll share our honest impressions and detailed reviews.
