While Hilton has so far shared very limited information about The Honors Society, the company has been far more transparent about Diamond Reserve. Hilton has officially outlined how members can qualify, what benefits the status includes, and – most importantly for luxury travelers – which Premium Clubs Diamond Reserve members can access worldwide. Diamond Reserve Qualification in Brief
To unlock Hilton Diamond Reserve, members must meet both activity and spending thresholds within a calendar year:
- 40 stays or 80 nights, and
- USD 18,000 in qualifying eligible spend
This makes Diamond Reserve one of the most demanding elite tiers among major hotel loyalty programs, comparable to Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador status, which requires 100 nights per year plus USD 23,000 in qualifying spend.

Hilton has now confirmed that Diamond Reserve members currently receive access to only 11 Premium Clubs worldwide. These lounges are located exclusively at Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, LXR, and Signia by Hilton properties.

One notable absence from the list is the Ikaros Club at Waldorf Astoria Kuwait. This is particularly surprising, as Hilton originally communicated that all Premium Clubs would be included as part of the Hilton Diamond Reserve benefit. At this stage, it remains unclear whether this is an intentional limitation or simply an oversight. Given the initial messaging, many Diamond Reserve members will likely expect this list to evolve.
Conclusion
With the introduction of Diamond Reserve, Hilton clearly wants to better reward its most loyal guests – those who actually stay often and spend significant amounts at Hilton hotels – while distinguishing them from members who reach Diamond status mainly through credit cards.
The added benefits, such as guaranteed 4:00 PM late check-out, top-priority space-available upgrades, and 120% bonus points on every stay, already offer strong value. Hilton has now also published the list of Premium Clubs that Diamond Reserve members can access, making lounge access the most exclusive benefit of the status.
That said, with only 11 Premium Clubs worldwide, the current list feels quite limited for such a high-level status. We hope Hilton expands this selection over time. Just as importantly, existing Executive Lounges that are currently available to Diamond members should remain so and not be moved into a separate Premium Club category accessible only to paying guests or higher-tier members.
