Waldorf Astoria Osaka: A New Luxury Stay in Japan

Waldorf Astoria is opening a new hotel in Osaka in April 2025. This marks the debut of the iconic brand in Japan, bringing its signature luxury and elegance to the heart of the country’s second-largest city. The Waldorf Astoria Osaka will occupy 12 floors of a 39-story high-rise in the Grand Green Osaka development, located in the south district of Osaka’s Umekita area. The opening comes just in time for Expo 2025 and aims to provide a high-end accommodation option in the city.

Spacious Rooms and Prime Location

The hotel will feature 252 guest rooms, each starting at 538 sq.ft. (50 sq.m.), offering ample space for visitors. Designed by award-winning designer Andre Fu, the interiors will combine modern luxury with practical comfort. The hotel is located near businesses, shopping centers, and restaurants, making it a convenient base for travelers. It is also within an hour’s travel from Kyoto, Kobe, and Nara, making it easy to explore the Kansai region.
